Belgian Foreign Minister Hadja Lahbib visited Ciner Holding

Belgian Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs, Foreign Trade and Federal Cultural Institutions Hadja Lahbib, who came to Turkey for an official visit, visited Ciner Holding and met with the Chairman of the Board of Directors Turgay Ciner and Ciner Glass Foreign Investments Chairman Didem Ciner.

Belgian Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Affairs, Foreign Trade and Federal Cultural Institutions Hadja Lahbib, who came to Turkey for bilateral contacts, visited Ciner Holding.

Welcomed by Turgay Ciner, Ciner Holding Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Didem Ciner, President of Ciner Glass Overseas Investments, Lahbib’s agenda included the economic relations between Belgium and Turkey and the contributions of the business world to this environment. Opinions were exchanged regarding the investments in Belgium within the scope of the European expansion strategy of Ciner Group, which has invested 100 billion TL in Turkey in the last 5 years.

Advisor to the Minister Bilal Benyaich, Director of Eastern and Southeastern Europe and Asia Relations Luc Liebaut and Ministry Spokesperson Remy Esqiliche accompanied the meeting, where the development of relations between the two countries and the investments of the Turkish business world in Belgium were discussed.

The Belgian minister, who also met with Foreign Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu in Ankara during his two-day official visit, also held talks on Turkey-EU relations, regional and international issues.

Before the visit, Didem Ciner, Head of Foreign Investments of Ciner Glass, and Hadja Lahbib, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belgium, took a boat tour in the Bosphorus.
